The hearth is the sacred fire or heart of a home. This is a space to feel safe, explore ideas with curiosity and kindness, and ignite inspiration and collaboration to make magic in the world through storytelling.
Guided by me, this sacred container is for storytellers who want to step fully into their unique voice, trust their path rooted in purpose, and embody the wisdom and magic of their stories both for inner and outer transformation

This is not only a nurturing community-supported container for you to expand in a non-judgemental home, but it’s also the beginning of a movement and collective visioning for filmmakers who want to work from the heart and create an industry rooted in safety, shared vulnerability, mutual respect, integrity, and collaboration.
So much of the industry is rooted in competition and hierarchies, yet this is a space of co-learning, abundance thinking, and resource sharing for a beautiful world which we can all play a role in creating. I really see this as the hearth—or spark of a growing movement—and it will be an honor to build it with you. Here you’ll find like-hearted people who share your values and intentions for storytelling and its transformational possibilities.
The membership takes place on the Skool Platform. Each month we gather for The Hearth —a live 1.5 hour session where you can bring your scripts, the seeds of ideas, or work-in-progress explorations. Together, we will speak about them, receive reflections from me and from your peers, and create space for gentle guidance, insight, and the noticing of creative blocks. These sessions are designed to encourage you to deepen your process, trust your unique voice, and make empowered choices for your work.
There will be a weekly self-reflection prompt to spark imagination, strengthen your authentic voice, and keep you connected to yourself and others. I truly feel that we can only meet a story as deeply as we have met ourselves.
Our community board is where you stay connected — sharing progress, asking for support, swapping resources, and maybe even discovering exciting collaborations. We are here to dream, vision, co-create, and make magic in the world. It’s a space to celebrate each other, uplift each other, and support one another in accountability and growth.
This isn’t about learning to make films, but coming home to the reason why we make them.

It’s not a space for passive participation. This is about tending your creative flame, stepping into your truth, embracing your unique voice, collaborating with community, and taking ownership of your practice in a supportive space.

Scholarship Seat: £44 / $60 per month
I am offering two intentionally created scholarship seats for filmmakers for whom finances are a barrier right now. This space is offered to ensure Films From The Hearth Club remains inclusive.

HEARTH GUIDELINES
Films From The Hearth is a guided creative container designed to deepen your relationship with your own voice, intuition, and creative practice.
It is not a training programme or film school, and I will not be teaching or sharing my personal step-by-step creative process. I offer reflection, facilitation, and insight to help you unlock your own wisdom and creative flow. This space is rooted in self-responsibility, mutual respect, confidentiality, and active participation.
By joining, you are saying yes to tending your own flame, trusting your unique path, and contributing to a supportive and heart-led collective space.
COME AND CREATE IN COMMUNITY
I had a very unconventional route into the industry. I didn’t go to film school and after filming my own homelessness experience as a way to cope, it become HALF WAY, my first feature documentary. After self-distributing in the cinemas, I was awarded BAFTA Breakthrough and met LOLLIPOP’S two amazing producers who invited me to write a script. I developed the script intuitively and from my heart - just in the same way I made and filmed HALF WAY. I always like to say I didn’t go to film school but went to the school of life - as I believe wisdom and creativity comes from experience and allowing space for our soul to speak.
Coming from outside of the normal hierarchies of filmmaking enabled me to see things clearly and ways in which I wanted to work differently.
My dream is to inspire people to write and make from deep within them with integrity at every level of the creative process. I believe we can create a huge culture shift in the film industry if we work with the power of intention - making work with love <3
